Meet Our Church Staff!
Pastor George and Rhonda Rhye
Pastor George and Rhonda Rhye have been serving at Emmanuel Assembly of God since November 1998. Through their leadership, we have seen our church grow in spiritual giftings and they have created a family oriented atmosphere. Pastor Rhye is a graduate of Central Bible College, Spingfield, Missouri and has served as Presbyter for the Louisville Section of the Kentucky District Council of the Assemblies of God since Oct 2000. He also teaches with the Kentucky School of Ministry, a KY District organization for further ministry studies to pursue credentials with the A/G.
Rhonda serves as our worship leader and Sunday School teacher for pre-teens. She currently is the full time Office Manager for Kap Enterprises, Inc. and enjoys her part-time employment at Archiver's, a scrapbook store, which allows her to pursue her love for just that, scrapbooking and creativity.
We are proud to have the Rhye's as our pastoral staff and would love to introduce you to them personally. Come join us and get away from the cares of the world.

We are proud to have the Baker's as our newest additions to our pastoral staff and would love to introduce them not only to you, but also your children, where they may learn all that God has, as well as called them to become and fulfill until He comes again in Glory.

Starting a Greeter Program
Four years ago I accepted the challenge of evangelism chairperson for our church. One of the first programs the pastor and I developed was the Sunday morning greeter program. -
Motivating the Right Person into the Right Ministry
One of the greatest challenges for most leaders is selecting and motivating the right people into the right ministry positions in hopes of minimizing turnover and frustration. Even in the smaller church with limited personnel, it is important to coordinate people and ministry as much as possible. -
“I TRIED, BUT NO ONE EVER CALLED ME”
“I tried, but no one ever called me” are painful words for a leader who has much work to do and not enough people willing to do it. These words are painful for the person who wanted to contribute, but was never called. These are also painful words for a person who is committed to helping people connect and contribute in meaningful ways within the church.
